Leadership is cliché?

Leadership is cliché?

Leadership is cliché? In fact it's the exact opposite and GREAT leadership is needed more than ever in any workplace. Here are 4 reasons why you should care about leadership today.

1. Healthy Organizations have a strong leadership framework

Just look at successful organizations that have been around for decades such as Apple, Chick-fil-A, IBM, Microsoft, and Nestle. I guarantee you they are not running ad-hoc strategies. So why should your organization play it by ear? Build structure in your organization today.

2. Leadership helps structure your organization to scale

Organizations such as NASA have Maxwell Leadership DISC assessment incorporated in their process. It's a really good idea to know the personality of the employee to give you a clue where they fit on the team. Placed in the right team sets up your company for success. Good teams produce better outcomes.

3. Leadership improves communication

It doesn't matter how many messaging apps you have or how many meetings you're in. Leadership is all about communication.

Are people hearing me when I speak? If not, why?
Do people feel heard? How can I listen to their needs better?

Leadership improves CLARITY in an organization.

4. Leadership is not in vain

Leadership learned today sets you up for success in the next organization or your own. The outcome of your current company may not be known, BUT, you can grow together, learn together and thrive together. Take the lessons that you learn together into your next venture.
